1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing www.anumya.com, browsing the website, communicating with Anumya through Instagram/WhatsApp/email, creating an account, placing an order, or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Exchange and Return Policy, Shipping and Cash on Delivery Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other policy displayed on our website.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

 

2. Legal Entity

The website www.anumya.com is owned and operated by Anumyas Attire Private Limited, a company registered in India.

Registered Office: 157/1, Chander Nagar, SBI Road, Alambagh, Lucknow – 226005, Uttar Pradesh, India.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a contract under applicable law to use this website or place an order.

If you are below 18 years of age, you may use the website only under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

 

4. Website Use

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

1. Use the website for fraudulent, illegal, harmful, or unauthorised purposes;
2. Provide false, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate information;
3. Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the website;
4. Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the website, server, account, or system;
5. Upload or transmit viruses, malware, spam, or harmful code;
6. Copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit website content without written permission;
7. Misuse discount codes, referral codes, offers, or promotional campaigns;
8. Impersonate any person or entity.

Anumya may suspend or restrict access to the website if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated.

 

5. Account Responsibility

If you create an account on the website, you are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must immediately notify us if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse of your account.

Anumya is not responsible for losses caused by your failure to keep your account information secure.

 

6. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, prices, images, specifications, availability, and other information are accurate.

However, handmade products may have natural variations. Minor differences in colour, print placement, texture, fabric finish, and measurements may occur.

Product images are for representation. Actual product colour may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, display settings, and handmade processes.

You should read product descriptions, fabric details, care instructions, dimensions, blouse piece details, return eligibility, and shipping information before placing an order.

 

7. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order will be the price displayed at checkout at the time you place the order, subject to correction of errors.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, typographical, technical, or product information errors, and to cancel or refuse orders placed on the basis of incorrect information.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways, banks, card networks, UPI providers, wallet providers, or other payment service providers. Your use of such payment services may be subject to their terms and policies.

Anumya does not store full card details, CVV, UPI PIN, banking passwords, or similar sensitive payment credentials.

 

8. Order Acceptance

Products displayed on the website constitute an invitation to offer. When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the product.

Anumya may accept or reject your order at its discretion. Order acceptance occurs when the product is dispatched.

We may cancel, reject, or limit an order due to product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment failure, delivery restrictions, bulk purchase concerns, reseller activity, incomplete details, or any other reasonable reason.

 

9. Promotions and Discount Codes

Discounts, coupons, offers, and promotional campaigns are subject to specific terms and validity periods.

Anumya may modify, suspend, withdraw, or cancel any offer at any time, unless prohibited by law.

Discount codes cannot be clubbed unless expressly stated. Discount codes may not apply to sale items, customised products, shipping charges, taxes, COD charges, or gift cards unless specifically stated.

 

10. Product Care

Customers must follow the care instructions provided on the product page, product tag, packaging, or invoice.

Anumya is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing, soaking, bleaching, harsh detergents, direct sunlight, tumble drying, ironing, dry cleaning, storage, perfume, deodorant, sweat, colour transfer, or any use contrary to care instructions.

Hand block printed and natural fabric products may require special care.

 

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including brand name, logo, images, product photographs, designs, text, graphics, videos, layout, look and feel, product descriptions, packaging design, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Anumya.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content without Anumya’s prior written consent.

 

12. Customer Content, Reviews, and Social Media

If you share reviews, photographs, videos, testimonials, tags, comments, feedback, or other content with Anumya or tag Anumya on social media, you grant Anumya a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide right to use, reproduce, publish, display, repost, and share such content for marketing, promotional, customer service, and business purposes, unless you expressly request otherwise in writing.

You must not submit content that is false, defamatory, obscene, abusive, unlawful, infringing, misleading, or violates the rights of any person.

Anumya may remove, moderate, or refuse to publish any content at its discretion.

 

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The website may contain links to third-party websites, payment gateways, courier partners, social media platforms, analytics tools, or other external services.

Anumya is not responsible for third-party websites, services, policies, security, accuracy, or practices. You should review the terms and privacy policies of third parties before using their services.

 

14. No Resale

Products purchased from Anumya are intended for personal use or gifting. You may not purchase products for resale, commercial redistribution, or export without Anumya’s prior written approval.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bulk orders, suspicious orders, or orders that appear to be placed by resellers.

Anumya reserves the right to cancel such orders and pursue appropriate legal remedies, including recovery of losses, against any person found to be purchasing for unauthorised resale, in accordance with applicable law.

 

15. Disclaimer

The website and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, subject to applicable law.

Anumya does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or harmful components.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

 

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anumya shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, reputational loss, or loss arising from third-party services.

For any claim relating to a product purchased from Anumya, Anumya’s aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim, except where a higher liability is required under applicable law.

 

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anumya, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and service providers against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of the website, violation of law, infringement of third-party rights, or fraudulent conduct.

18. Force Majeure

Anumya will not be responsible for delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, fire, epidemic, pandemic, war, civil unrest, strikes, transport disruptions, courier delays, government restrictions, customs delays, internet failures, payment gateway downtime, supply chain disruptions, or other force majeure events.

We will acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and endeavour to resolve them within one month from the date of receipt.

A complaint reference or ticket number will be provided where applicable.

 

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use and all transactions with Anumya shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws and any mandatory legal rights available to consumers, the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, the website, or purchases from Anumya.

For customers located outside India, mandatory consumer protection laws of the customer's home jurisdiction, where applicable and not capable of being contractually excluded, shall not be affected by this clause.

 

21. Changes to Terms

Anumya may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website with the effective date.

Your continued use of the website after the updated terms are posted will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

 

22. Cultural and Religious Motifs Disclosure

Some Anumya products may include traditional, cultural, spiritual, devotional, folk-art, heritage or religiously inspired motifs, including but not limited to symbols, instruments, patterns, objects, flora, fauna, architectural elements, mythological references, festive motifs, and traditional Indian design elements.

Such motifs are used respectfully as part of India’s artistic, textile, craft and cultural heritage. They are not intended to insult, offend, misrepresent, commercialise, appropriate, ridicule, defame, or show disrespect to any religion, deity, community, belief system, scripture, custom, practice, person, group, or tradition.

The inclusion of any such motif should not be understood as a religious representation, ritual object, endorsement, certification, association with any religious institution, or statement of belief by Anumya, its directors, artisans, suppliers, partners, or representatives.

Customers are requested to carefully review product photographs, descriptions and motif details before placing an order. If a customer is uncomfortable with any motif, symbol, placement, colour, description or design, the customer should not purchase the product and may contact Anumya for clarification before ordering.

 

23. Cultural, Religious and Heritage Motifs

Anumya offers handmade, hand block printed, hand-finished and/or traditionally inspired apparel. Some products may contain motifs inspired by Indian art, culture, craft, folklore, nature, mythology, spirituality, religious symbolism, musical instruments, temple architecture, festivals, rituals, or other heritage references.

Anumya uses such motifs in good faith, in a respectful, aesthetic and culturally sensitive manner. Anumya does not intend to hurt, offend, insult, ridicule, misrepresent, defame, appropriate, or disrespect any religion, deity, scripture, community, belief system, spiritual practice, place of worship, religious sentiment, person, class of persons, or cultural tradition.

No product, design, motif, description, photograph, marketing material, social media post or other communication by Anumya should be interpreted as:

1. A religious statement or ritual object;
2. A claim of religious authority, endorsement, approval or affiliation;
3. A representation that Anumya, its directors, artisans, suppliers, partners or representatives are affiliated with any religious body, sect, institution, temple, trust, organisation, leader or community;
4. An attempt to monopolise, own or commercially appropriate any sacred symbol, deity, scripture, tradition, language, cultural practice or religious belief;
5. An intentional insult to any religion, community or belief system.

Anumya reserves the right to modify, withdraw, rename, suspend, disable, remove, or stop selling any product, design, motif, image, description, campaign, social media post, advertisement, or other content if Anumya believes, in its sole discretion, that the same may be misunderstood, misused, culturally inappropriate, legally sensitive, operationally risky, or likely to cause concern to any customer, community, partner, artisan, platform, authority or member of the public.

Any such action by Anumya shall be without prejudice and shall not be treated as an admission of wrongdoing, illegality, liability, negligence, intent to offend, or lack of respect.

Nothing in this clause is intended to limit Anumya's obligations to provide accurate product descriptions under Rule 5 of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

 

24. Customer Responsibility for Use After Purchase

After delivery, customers are responsible for the manner in which they use, wear, photograph, style, display, resell, gift, alter, store, dispose of, publish, advertise or otherwise handle the product.

Customers must not use Anumya products, product images, brand assets, motifs, packaging or content in any manner that is unlawful, derogatory, hateful, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, inflammatory, misleading, politically provocative, religiously offensive, culturally disrespectful, or likely to disturb public order or hurt the sentiments of any person, community, religion or class of persons.

Anumya shall not be responsible for any claim, complaint, loss, liability, action, social media post, public reaction, legal proceeding, or third-party objection arising from a customer’s use, misuse, alteration, styling, display, resale, publication, disposal, or representation of a product after purchase.

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Anumya, its directors, officers, employees, artisans, vendors, suppliers, logistics partners, consultants, service providers and business partners from any claim, complaint, cost, liability, damage, penalty, legal proceeding or expense arising from the customer’s misuse, misrepresentation, unlawful use, offensive use, unauthorised commercial use, or public display of any Anumya product, content, image or motif.

 

25. Reporting Concerns

If any customer, community representative, rights holder, artisan, partner, religious body, public authority, or member of the public believes that any Anumya product, motif, description, photograph, marketing material, social media content, or other communication is inaccurate, inappropriate, culturally sensitive, offensive, infringing, or requires review, they may contact Anumya at:

The complaint should include the product name, product link or image, order number if applicable, the nature of concern, and supporting details.

Anumya will acknowledge the complaint within 48 hours and will endeavour to review and resolve the matter within one month from the date of receipt. Depending on the facts, Anumya may seek additional information, modify the listing, update the product description, remove content, suspend sale of the product, issue a clarification, contact the relevant supplier/artisan, or take any other action that Anumya considers appropriate.

Anumya’s review or action on any complaint shall not constitute an admission of liability, wrongdoing, illegality, intent to offend, or violation of any right.
