Anumya was born from a simple thought—gratitude. Gratitude for our traditions, our artisans, and the timeless beauty of handcrafted textiles.

My love for block prints began years ago. I’ve always been drawn to the elegance of handcrafted fabrics—whether it’s suits, sarees, shirts, kurtis, or everyday wear. While living in Jaipur, I participated in exhibitions that allowed me to share my passion for handcrafted textiles. Those experiences deepened my appreciation for India’s rich heritage of block printing.

Life then took me overseas because of my husband’s work. With young children to care for, I stepped away from my professional journey. Although my work paused, my love for handcrafted textiles never did. Living and travelling across different parts of the world gave me a deeper appreciation for India’s rich heritage. Seeing diverse cultures only strengthened my admiration for the beauty, artistry, and timeless appeal of Indian craftsmanship and traditions. That inspiration became the foundation of Anumya.

Today, my brother and I have come together to build Anumya, combining our shared vision with my lifelong passion for handcrafted textiles. Together, we hope to celebrate the artistry of Indian artisans and bring traditional block prints to people who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. Every piece we create is handcrafted with care, honoring the skill of our artisans while offering designs that feel both rooted in tradition and relevant for today.

Anumya is more than a clothing brand. It is a journey back to my passion, a celebration of our heritage, and a heartfelt expression of gratitude. We are grateful to every artisan who creates with us and to every customer who becomes a part of our story.
